Go to the "Preferences" dropdown on the top left in the black nav bar and select "Preferences." On the page that opens, look on the "Personal Info" tab for the box labelled "Avatar url:" where you'll need to put in an address where you have some image saved. If you're on Twitter, you might be able to right mouse click to get the image URL and then use that here on Fren.it. - Stephen Francoeur - -

Ok, here is an actually LSWish comment/question. I am fine when vendors sponsor events. I am fine if a vendor is a presenter. I am not fine when the same vendor both sponsors the event, pays for the food and provides a speaker. Too much like they are paying for advertising. I am thinking of...

That would look fine to me as a vendor-sponsored auxiliary event at a conference; happens all the time at ALA, for example. But as an official program...it's like a magazine that runs advertorials in its normal typeface and layout. Unfortunate at best. - waltcrawford - -
