Hare krishna? (Do hare krishnas even go to airports any more? One of the first signs of spring around here is when they turn up at the park across from work.)

I am getting used to Twitter as my replacement to ff, but it just doesn't have the same threading. Need to remember to come back to frenf every once in a while, and more often.
I'm always amazed that anyone can tell what's happening. I usually can only catch every other word when I've heard them on TV.

The HS matching band won State again in 2A. 5th in a row for the school, and 3rd for the kid in 3 years in the band. 2A is 2nd smallest of schools in the state. Prob won't happen next year sine the teacher is retiring. He will be missed.

I am guessing that I am not going to be receiving much email from FriendFeed anymore, so I guess I could delete this email filter. http://content.screencast...
After all this time, FriendFeed still appears whenever I open a New Tab on Firefox (frequently visited sites).

Ummmm, no. Hits *delete*. "So you’ve either been incredibly busy lately, or eaten by aliens, but I noticed that you haven’t yet read the latest independent 'BI Matrix Comparison Report' that was sent out to you recently."

Went to the Foo Fighters concert last night with the kid, and I swear we walked by the drummer Taylor Hawkins as he was going the opposite direction. It looked just like him. Some other concert goers said, nahhh, that couldn't have been him. But his face is very distinctive. I googled trying to see other reports of him wandering around venues before shows, but I didn't find anything. I also tried to see if there are any Taylor doppelgängers that go to Foo shows. Anyway, I swear it was him.
He had another person with him, maybe as a body guard? Or, am I just silly to think that he would be out walking around before the show? Or, am I silly to think that he wouldn't dare venture around with the common folk?

Hello vendor, thank you for the price quote for this particular database, but this is for the wrong institution. We are a private institution in Colorado, not a public institution in California.
But the price does seem reasonable. I haven't compared to see if our price is similar (or not) to their quoted price.

Yeah, I always reach that point on driving vacations, where all I want to do is to never, ever drive again. I get over it once I rest up after, but it can be so exhausting when you're not used to that day after day.

Yay. THE REASON we have gone to Glacier National Park has been closed because of a fire. Hope it is back open tomorrow, but I doubt it. We will see as much as we can tomorrow, but our plans better be flexible. http://missoulian.com/new...
So disappointing about the fire. There's lots of neat stuff in the area, though, so I hope y'all find some good things to see/do.
