It's kind of weird trying to trouble-shoot between two servers when you have access to neither. (Alma logins go through our campus authentication server.)

i'm just trying to figure out logins. we will have guest users who may borrow books, so will want to log in to see their accounts but don't have our single sign on credentials. looks like we can have an intermediary page to deal with the two types of login but still, seems like a lot of trouble. - weelibrarian - - (Edit | Remove)

We have a dual login system: one for staff/students authenticating against LDAP, one for visitors etc using Alma authentication. I can talk about the broad architecture of this but not if the talk turns technically detailed. - deborahfitchett - - (Edit | Remove)

Have put in so many hours editing this committee report, am beginning to think that it would have been less time-consuming to just write the damn thing myself.

And I'm late getting the damned thing done because other people can't finish their bits. I ask for two pieces, and get back one. *cries* - Kirsten - - (Edit | Remove)

*sips tea* Yup. At least in school I could usually get everyone to do what I wanted. Too low on the totem pole for that in this committee. - Kirsten - - (Edit | Remove)
