My wife and SIL are contemplating starting up a gaming review YouTube channel. I think it's intended to be kind of "for girls, by girls" but I'm not entirely sure. It should be interesting especially as I'm watching their first play through (not online). They definitely had fun, at least. :P

My wife already has some stuff she posts on YouTube for her papercrafting website so I guess she's going to take advantage of that experience to have fun. :) - CAJ - - (Edit | Remove)

Google is living in the future right now. They're in the middle of developing a new interaction sensor using radar technology that can track movement with crazy accuracy. It's only the size of a small computer chip and can be inserted into everyday objects and things we use daily. See the two quick GIFs to get an idea and watch the video for a full-blown introduction to the amazingness. It's all very impressive. - CAJ - - (Edit | Remove)

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to feel tired at the very beginning of your work day. Although, I haven't had coffee since I got up at 2AM so that's probably a factor. Let's go remedy that. *walks off*

Octopus Vs. Jar | IFLScience (http://www.iflscience.com... ) http://i.imgur.com/YiWhcv...
10 years ago from Bookmarklet - Comment - Hide - - - (Edit | Remove) - More...
There are about 300 known species of octopus, and they are quite possibly the most intelligent invertebrates. Some species are able to change color at will to blend in with their surroundings when threatened, and some will even change their shape to mimic other animals to save themselves. Other octopuses have shown rudimentary tool use by arranging discarded shells as shelters. Because octopuses lack a skeleton, they are able to navigate through tight places. But what happens when there isn’t a hole to go through? Apparently, they just have to make one. This video shows an octopus that uses its remarkable flexibility and suctioned tentacles to its advantage when confined inside a jar. - CAJ - - (Edit | Remove)

You Remember That Wrong: Brain Distorts Memories Every Time It Recalls Them | The Mary Sue (http://www.themarysue.com... ) http://static02.mediaite....

Got a treasured memory? It’s okay to get a little sappy, we all do, whether it’s that perfect night with a special someone or that dungeon crawl that finally went exactly according to plan. If you’re remembering that thing right now, for the love of God, stop! It just won’t be the same the next time you recall it. In research that should surprise no one, our brains are constantly betraying us, transforming our memories every time we think about them. - CAJ - - (Edit | Remove)

You know your hand signals. But unless they've been through drivers ed recently, odds are the people around you don't. Zackees Turn Signal Gloves leave no doubt as to your intentions when on your bicycle, informing drivers of your intent to turn via powerful LEDs built right into the tops of both gloves. To use them, just bring the contact points on the index finger and thumb together to activate a flashing arrow light. An ambient light sensor boosts the brightness during daytime use, and thanks to an automatic on/off feature, you can get months of use before it's time to replace or recharge. - CAJ - - (Edit | Remove)

So I wonder what updates would cause the version number to update from Frenfi version 0.03a.80? I was thinking that FOAF would have been 0.04 and then Real Time might be 0.05. This is probably why I don't develop software. :D

it doesn't matter whatever is your opinion on any given subject, how complex and articulated it may be, you'll always find idiotic morons against and in favor of it, acting like jerks, not actually giving a shit about anyone or anything, but to prove them right by any means. or simply enjoying the brawl. whatever it may be your opinion, you'll ever find someone whose sole purpose is to piss you off, for the sake of it. Otherwise turning off comments would achieve the only result of attracting shitlords like a beacon could attract moths. - bezdomnyj82 - - (Edit | Remove)

MENTAL CRISIS! I can't decide whether I want to put the time as 4PM, 4pm or 4 p.m. Of course, if we silly Americans would just go with a 24 clock, I could just put 1600 and everyone would know. Right? (I think 4pm is winning me over, btw.)
