"NFL prospect Byron Jones was standing in place at the league’s scouting combine on Monday when he bent his knees, jumped off both feet and landed 12 feet and three inches away from where he started. That’s an NFL combine record, but that word almost feels like an understatement. Jones actually jumped a full eight inches farther than what was previously logged in the NFL.com database as the top broad jump, as this type of jump is called, and may have set a world record, too. Not bad for a Monday. Jones was previously a cornerback at the University of Connecticut, where he injured his shoulder during his senior season. But he’s looking plenty healthy now. Leave early to take late afternoon calls from home. start work early so I can avoid afternoon traffic. Work from home once a week. Intentionally do some work on a Sat and leave a bit early on Fri. Read socnet Stuff while waiting for meetings. Other little things. - Kristin - -

Whatever does not get completed today will have to wait until the following day. If there is any way I can do something remotely I will so I can spend my valuable time with my family instead of in a hotel. I have set strict limits on how much spare time I'm willing to sacrifice in the name of employment. - Kristin - -

The last 3 times I flew out of LAX, I arrived at my destination missing my right shoe. Twice, when I came back home, knowing I packed both shoes at the hotel, my luggage was missing the right shoe. - Kristin - -

Yep. I put all my shoes in a bag inside my luggage and tied it. I did a sweep of the hotel room before I left. I got home and the bag is ripped and missing one left shoe. Weird. - Kristin - -

I've had luck with the car upholstery cleaners that have the scrub brush attached that you scrub it in like your arms going to fall off. Sorry don't remember names :( - Kristin - -
