seriously annoyed (perhaps unreasonably) - I've provided a group here with the link to the f/t of a springer book like 50 times, i've purchased the "mycopy" for my own use and encouraged others to do the same... now someone in the group has come up with what appears to be a pirated copy and posted that for the group... (as i yell take it down!)

Steve, that reminds me of one of the reasons piracy is good - often it's easier to use and more user friendly than the legal options. Not always, but until the publishers (any type of media) make the barrier of use negligible, people will pirate who might otherwise be happy to pay and be legal. - Christina Pikas - -
