A 7 hour bus trip that's a bit too warm is bad, but you can still sleep. A 7 hour bus trip that's way too cold is at least 20x worse.

I have the opposite problem - if it is too warm on the bus/train/plane, I can't sleep at all, and as a bonus, on a bus I start to feel motion sick. I had to avoid the bus from Frederick to DC when I lived there for that exact reason. The MARC train was often cold, but that was way better for me. - Jennifer D. - -
