Dammit, Fitbit! I had the new tiles all arranged the way I wanted them, and now you've removed the ones I had at the top, the ones I *really* wanted, the single-tile ones. Now, because of the long/wide combined tiles, it's impossible to arrange what I want where I want it so that I can see it all within one screen.

The number-one tile I use the most, the one with Miles? Gone. (Also, if I had known that their "we're adding new tiles" also meant "we're removing others," I wouldn't have bothered rearranging them when they first announced it. It's the bait and switch that bugs me. (I'm no longer surprised when companies remove useful features.) - bentley - - (Edit | Remove)

How to Work Up to Full Push-Ups Without Starting From Your Knees http://vitals.lifehacker.... Option 1: Full Push-Ups, But Fewer of Them - Option 2: Negative Push-Ups - Option 3: Staircase Progression.

I've had pretty decent luck with the Staircase Progression - it seemed to help me work on form more than the other two, without risking injury while I was figuring things out. I'm intrigued by the Negative ones, though. - Jennifer D. - - (Edit | Remove)

Simple Rules for Healthy Eating http://www.nytimes.com/20...

"Below are the general rules I live by. They’re the ones I share with patients, with friends and with family. ... But I acknowledge up front that they may apply only to healthy people without metabolic disorders. ... They are not “laws” and should not be treated as such. No specific nutrients will be demonized, and none will be held up as miracles. But these recommendations make sense to me, and they’ve helped me immensely." - bentley - - (Edit | Remove)
1. Get as much of your nutrition as possible from a variety of completely unprocessed foods. 1b. Eat lightly processed foods less often. 1c. Eat heavily processed foods even less often. 2. Eat as much home-cooked food as possible, which should be prepared according to Rule 1. 3. Use salt and fats, including butter and oil, as needed in food preparation. 4. When you do eat out, try to eat at restaurants that follow the same rules. 5. Drink mostly water, but some alcohol, coffee and other beverages are fine. 6. Treat all beverages with calories in them as you would alcohol. 7. Eat with other people, especially people you care about, as often as possible. - bentley - - (Edit | Remove)
