Of all the clothing choices I have to make, the selection of socks seems to cause me the most pause. I prefer to have a large pile of the same or similar socks for everyday wear. No muss. No fuss. Just grab a pair and go. (Dress socks and such are different story.) Of course, wanting to have enough socks for two weeks (or so) can get expensive.
