And now waiting to see if I might be fired at work. Okay, probably not but the fact I can think about it is scary. Event happened that could have negative revenue influence happened on my watch this weekend. While no one has ever been fired that I'm aware of, the event could be a big deal. I'm worried but mostly frustrated that it happened.

That's great that you brought a level-headed solution to the situation (and also great that no one was fired). I've been in a similar situation and you sometimes just have to let that initial wave of panic wash over you, then focus on the fix and prevention. - CAJ - -

Just caught myself doing the four tap pattern that The Master was doing in Doctor Who. It made me wonder if you do something very unique like that in public, how long would it take before someone recognized it for what it was.

#SaturdayFF I think I've just decided that I don't have a problem with procrastination. I'm just lazy...but with a bit of perfectionist on the end. So I put off doing something until I have to rush and/or half-ass it which makes me not even want to do it since it'll end up not be as good as it should be. I would like to thank my brain for this.

While having some random troubles with PayPal in Chrome (but not in Firefox), it makes me wonder if it's time to make Firefox my primary browser again. I actually use both fairly regularly but Firefox seems to be behaving better lately. #randomobservation

There has been the infancy of a viral video campaign in existence for 9 or so months now. I read an article back then with a producer that said they didn't want to go to hard to early and be written off a hacky rehash. Given the glut of blockbuster movies coming out right now, they wanted a solid trailer with all the SFX nailed down and smack it hard leading into Xmas. - CAJ - -

Is it wrong to respond to an email that about a year and a half old? Technically, I was supposed to respond when I found out some specific information which I finally did this morning. I'm guessing probably not. I'm very sure the position has been filled by now but since I was pretty far along in the hiring process, I feel obligated to respond.

BAH! I just learned that they cancelled my security upgrade process. It appears I wasn't denied the upgrade but that the "Customer" cancelled the process before completion. Definitely deflating as I had been mostly treading water until that was complete. Time to hit the virtual bricks because I'm ready to move from my current job to something else.

While I'm trying to comfort myself with "at least I know now", it's not the same as "You're approved!" would be. :) Not the end of the world and now I can get some focus in my work life as to where I can/want to go. - CAJ - -
