I'm not trying to beat a dead horse but I finally saw this dress as black and blue by scrolling from the bottom to the top. And when the whole dress was in view, it changed back to "gold" and "white". Very strange. - CAJ - -

And in a totally random life update, we're finally getting to an optometrist tomorrow to update our prescriptions (glasses and contacts). While it's been nice to have my glasses as a backup, I REALLY miss my contacts and having more normal peripheral vision. All this head turning to see stuff is tiring! :D

I don't recall when I last felt in control of my life. I am fortunate that I am not struck with major health/financial issues. Unfocused and floundering is roughly how I feel more often than not. This is more of a journal entry than an attempt at attention. Sometimes you just have to get the words down and out of your head to let new ones in.

A realization has come upon me. Having the ability to contact people on multiple social networks is not actually an optimum way to keep up with people. Do I FB chat them? Do I Hangout chat them? Do I text them? Do I just plain old email them? Obviously, everyone is not on every service so to keep in touch you have no choice to but to spread...-->

...yourself out to accommodate them. (Unless you don't really want to keep in touch and that's a whole different post.) And therein lies the problem. If you're on a service, it seems like logical sense to be able to contact anyone you know on that service. And if you know them on all services...well, we're back to my realization. I guess I need to start figuring out how people like to be contacted and remember that preference for the future. <sigh> Kinda sounds like work. - CAJ - -

Oddly enough, I have the exact opposite problem since the person who prompted this thought was someone I see fairly regularly. I might just ask next time I see them. Personally, even with smartphones and all the apps that you can run, texting is my preferred method of contact. - CAJ - -

#SaturdayFF I've recently discovered what my personal theme for 2015 is going to be: "Do. The. Work." Simple enough, right? I noticed that I had become fairly lackadaisical in some life tasks and was tending towards "I'll do that later" reactions for too many things. Hopefully, my first thought will now be "Do. The.
