The last thought about this Women's World Cup that I've had throughout - I am so glad that so many of the players have a robust league in the US and Canada to return to. After the last cup, it wasn't even certain that many of the players would be able to continue professionally in the US, and some of the biggest stars weren't even being properly paid. It is so different this time around.
