If anyone knows how to make the most of the weekend, it’s Italians. They even have two names for the concept: the disappointingly Anglicised “il weekend” and “fine settimana”, which is far more satisfying. Fine settimana sounds like we’re getting settled in for some proper time off, just as you should be.
