I had a dream about PSB's Reggie Deluxe. I haven't had issues with removing gluten or dairy (yet), but my mind obviously wants me to know there are things I WILL be missing.

Along the north, south, or through the middle? (Or combo?) I really would like to spend some time going through the Badlands, and to several of the other parks in the west, that I've just mostly driven by on other (more time-constrained) trips. - Kristin - - (Edit | Remove)

Watch: Neil Patrick Harris adorably re-enacts Lady and the Tramp scene with husband · PinkNews.co.uk - http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2014...
1 decade ago from Friendfeed - Comment - Hide - - - (Edit | Remove) - More...
"The How I Met Your Mother actor filmed the clip with husband David Burtka – who he married in Italy earlier this month – to promote his new autobiography, ‘Choose Your Own Autobiography’. The book takes a form of a ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ novel, allowing readers to choose to not follow the actual progression of the Dr Horrible star’s life. Likewise, the promo video allows users to watch one of several simultaneous clips – including the one of Harris and Burtka re-enacting the famous scene." - Kristin - - (Edit | Remove)
The picture messed up, but the video at the bottom of the article that promotes his book is typical NPH awesomeness. - Kristin - - (Edit | Remove)

She's a 2006. The short commute of recent years has saved a lot on mileage. The first car I had I put on 150k in just a few years. Toyotas run forever though .. my brother's truck has 350k+ and is just at the point that it's needing some major work. - Kristin - - (Edit | Remove)

Will Giancarlo Stanton’s injury bring better protection for hitters? | For The Win - http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014...
1 decade ago from Friendfeed - Comment - Hide - - - (Edit | Remove) - More...
"(A)lready we see players in Little League and softball and in cricket wear helmets that also include facial protection. We know this because after Jason Heyward was drilled in the face by the Mets’ Jon Niese, he started wearing a helmet with a flap that curls around the front of his jaw — protection he continues to wear to this day. Face flaps for helmets are like safety belts in cars in the ‘70s — they are available, they could prevent serious injury, and as Heyward and others have demonstrated, there is really no downside to wearing one, just as there was no strong counter argument to wearing a helmet, beyond personal comfort." - Kristin - - (Edit | Remove)

Giancarlo Stanton, Chase Headley Hit In Head. Is MLB Keeping Its Sluggers Safe? - http://www.forbes.com/sites...
1 decade ago from Friendfeed - Comment - Hide - - - (Edit | Remove) - More...
"It was a scary night in Major League Baseball, as Giancarlo Stanton and Chase Headley both took fastballs to their faces on Thursday. Stanton — the Miami Marlins’ young superstar — was hit by an 88-mile per hour fastball to his jaw, as the Marlins played the Brewers in Milwaukee. Stanton was visibly bleeding before being taken off the field by a stretcher; he was diagnosed with facial fractures. Just minutes later and almost 1,000 miles away, Chase Headley of the New York Yankees was hit in the chin by a 96-mile per hour pitch thrown by Tampa Bay Rays closer Jake McGee. Headley appeared dazed but responsive and, unlike Stanton, able to walk under his own power." - Kristin - - (Edit | Remove)

British human rights investigators disappear in Qatar, after being followed by plain clothes police - Middle East - World - The Independent - http://www.independent.co.uk/news...
1 decade ago from Friendfeed - Comment - Hide - - - (Edit | Remove) - More...
"Two British human rights workers investigating the plight of migrant labourers constructing facilities for Qatar’s 2022 World Cup have disappeared and are feared to be held incommunicado by the Gulf state’s security forces. Krishna Upadhyaya and Ghimire Gundev vanished on Sunday afternoon after sending texts to colleagues saying they were being followed by plain clothes police officers and feared they arrest as they tried to leave Qatar on flights that day." - Kristin - - (Edit | Remove)
"Qatar has been strongly criticised for the working conditions of its 1.4m migrant labourers as it races to spend £123bn on new infrastructure ahead of the 2022 World Cup. More than 400 Nepalese, the vast majority of them in Qatar to work on construction projects, died in the Gulf state between January 2012 and this May - a death rate of one worker per day. Qatar has insisted that none of the deaths occurred on World Cup sites." - Kristin - - (Edit | Remove)
