Reason #9834782193 I hate my job: I just received documents from Health & Human Services about two former employees (family members) who falsified documents claiming less than 1/3 of what they made to get assistance AND forged a combination of my signature and the staffing person we fired in August.
HHS response: "Oh, I'll contact them and tell them they have to get you to redo the forms." WHAT?!

"Saturday Night Live put host Jim Carrey behind the wheel for a dead-on parody of the actor's weirdest acting gig since the birth of the McConaissance. Over the course of three parody ads, Carrey as McConaughey becomes more and more unhinged, channeling the absurd wisdom of True Detective's Rust Cohle, and injuring an unlucky Allstate spokesperson along the way."

I'm torn between wanting the Royals to win and wanting Hunter Pence to show the world that the Astros were insane for trading him when he first came up.

I don't know why anyone would want a profession that requires 55-60 hour work weeks. These past couple of months are killing me. #getmetoPNW
What's holding you back from relocating? You use that hashtag a lot and I understand being frustrated with where you live - it's why I have picked up and moved on 2 different occasions (the 1st time from east coast to west coast, the 2nd time from SoCal to NorCal) - so I'm just curious if there are major obstacles in the way, like family obligations.

Kevin - I'm looking into nature/landscape/cityscape photography eventually. Until I get established, anything business related that's low-stress would do. I've been running a business for the last 8+ years and I'm ready for something with a better life/work balance.

"It’s safe to say photographer Fabian Oefner — whose many projects have never failed impress us — has a thing for paint and physics. Usually this means spraying, spinning and otherwise manipulating it to create colorful, abstract images against a black background. But when Ferrari asked him to capture the essence of their new California T in images, he took his signature art/science hybrid photography to new heights to get the job done. After getting to know the car and experience what it’s like to drive it, he decided to try and capture the emotions that speed and acceleration cause in the driver using UV paint and a wind tunnel."

"Kelly Slater just proved -- yet again -- why he is the best surfer the world has ever seen. On Friday, a lay day during the Moche Rip Curl Pro Portugal, Slater completed 1.5 rotations in the air -- a trick never accomplished before on a surfboard. The massive aerial maneuver drew gasps from the crowd and confirmed Slater's status as a venerable surf god."

DO ANYBODY NO why I can't login to FF on my work computer? I usually stay logged in at work, but now when I try to login it says FF cannot connect to FB. Yes, yes, I made the mistake of using FB to sign up for FF. Any ideas?
I'm wondering if that's the same thing Iain Baker ran into. He hasn't been able to access his account at all (and FB was how he logged in.)

I've been trying to help catch this basset for the last 3 days. She's been roaming around my office, but is terrified of people and other dogs. A rescuer friend set a trap for her yesterday and she avoided it. I saw her again today and this guy named Trent was able to get close enough to slip a leash around her neck. Trent and I sat with her ....
... until my rescuer friend was able to come and pick her up. She's now in their rescue program and will get the medical attention she needs and learn how to be a dog! Once the leash went around her neck she started wagging and trotting right along. It looks like she was from a backyard breeder who bred her until she couldn't produce puppies anymore. :( But she'll have a good life from here on out.

Trent is a kid that pulled over when the basset ran into traffic. He's very sweet, very YOUNG, and not that bright. He thought we should give her some Sunny D because it has "vitamins and stuff" in it. He's also Canadian. Shout out to the Canucks.
